Logging in the game
When you launch the game, you have to enter the account name and password you chose when registering. You can select the option "Remember my account name" to save your account name to the login window on this PC.

After you have successfully logged in for the first time, you will be prompted
to create your first army.

IV. Choose your army composition. You can select from 2 options:
• Pre-built Army - Four different units. This is the recommended choice when creating an army the first time.
• Custom Army - Includes a sum of gold, sufficient to buy (and equip) several units. This is the recommended choice for experienced players.

Selecting an Army
When an army has been created, you will continue to the Army Control screen[ About Army Control ]
• Create a new army with the «Create» button.
• Remove one of your existing armies with the «Remove» button. (You have to select one of your existing armies for this button to be active).
• Choose an army from the list by click on its icon.
• Choose an army and go to the Main Menu of the game with the «Enter» button or double-click on army icon in the list.
• Change your banner to one of the existiong ot to one You created. (How to create a banner)

When an army has been selected and the «Enter» button is pressed, you will be taken to the Main Menu.
Main Menu

The upper panel in this screen (and the following screens) contains information about your army:
• Army finances - gold and gem icons and amounts.
• Army points -the overall power of your army.
• Army name - the name of your army.
• «Settings» button - game, key, video and audio settings.

Pressing the «Settings» button will take you to the Game Settings screen:

Here you'll find the following settings:
Graphic settings:
• «Enable Bloom Post Effect» - Enable or disable bloom post-effect. Disabling this post-effect could
increase game performance during battles.
• «Enable FX» - Enable or disable rain, fog etc effects on map.
• «Grass density» - Choose the level of detail for grass on the battlefield. Setting this to the
minimum level could increase game performance during battles.
• «Static objects texture quality» - Set the quality of static objects texturing on the battlefield. Setting this
to the minimum level could increase game performance during battles.
• «Presets» - Complex graphics settings.
• «Terrain Geometry Quality» - Set the quality of terrain elements on the battlefield. Setting this to the
minimum level could increase game performance during battles.
• «Terrain texture quality» - Set the quality of terrain texturing on the battlefield. Setting this to the
minimum level could increase game performance during battles.
• «Shadows» - Set the overall quality of shadows. Setting this to the minimum level could
increase game performance during battles.
• «Units texture quality» - Set the quality of unit texture. Setting this to the minimum level could
increase game performance during battles.
• «Shaders quality» - Set the quality of shaders. Setting this to the minimum level could increase
game performance during battles.
Sound settings:
This menu allows you to control the levels of sounds and music in the game, or
disable them altogether.
Redefine keys:
This menu allows you to redefine hotkeys for different actions in the game.
Game Settings:
This menu allows you to switch interface hints on or off, and define mouse
sensitivity, camera movement and rotation speed.

The «Inbox» holds all incoming messages. New and unread messages are marked with yellow color and closed envelop icon.

«Send» is where you answer your incoming mail or send mail to a player from your friends list.
Let's take a closer look at the Main Menu. There are 7 main buttons:
1 «Battlegrounds» transfers you to the battle lobby where you can fight! But before battles, you should equip and set up your army.
2«Trainings&Challenges» This button opens the list of training missions, tutorials and challenges you can play in single-player mode. Each mission has its own scenario, rules and conditions of victory.
3 «Manage your army» transfers you to army control.
[ About Army management ]When the «Manage your army» button is pressed, you are taken to the army management screen. Here, you can define the units to you want to participate in battle and the ones that will be left in reserve. The left column contains units left in reserve, while the right one is an active army roster.
You can move units to and from the reserve and army roster by double-clicking on unit icon or with arrow buttons:

You can set names for each of your units by selecting a unit, clicking on the name field (above the unit soldier screen,) and entering the name. Press the "Enter" button on your keyboard.

This screen allows you to:
a) Check your units, stats and skills.
At the bottom left of the screen, there is a window with the Stats and Skills
of the selected unit. By hovering your cursor over a value or icon, you receive
more information about the meaning of that stat or skill.
b) Take a screenshot of a soldier:
Click on the magnifying glass at the upper right corner of the unit soldier
screen to open a detailed view window. Here you can stop unit animation at any
moment, browse it back and forth step-by-step, rotate the soldier figure (by
clicking the mouse on the figure and moving it) or zoom the camera in and out (with
mouse scroll wheel). Buttons below allow you to take a screenshot, or view all
previous screenshots.

1. «Pause\Resume» allows you to stop or resume unit animation; arrows let you browse it back and
forth step-by-step.
2. «Make screenshot» takes a screenshot of the character from your unit.
3. «Browse screenshots» allows you to view your screenshots;
4. «Close» takes you back to previous screen.
c) You can upgrade your units' stats by:
Pressing the arrow button
in a unit window to go to the unit upgrade screen:

At the top of the screen, you can see AP (Army Point), cost of the unit, and the amount of unspent XP (Experience Points). XP is spent on upgrading stats and skills of your unit.
When you increase a unit's stats and skills, the unit's AP value will also increase. Note that increasing a skill that is not associated with your unit's equipped weapon does not increase the unit's AP.
d) You can purchase new units for your army by pressing «Buy Units».
4 «Buy units» takes you to the shop where you can buy new units, equipment and items.
[ About purchasing Units ]
Choose the race you want to buy a unit from, select a unit and click the «Buy» icon
.
In the shop there are three main categories:
• «Units» takes you to the units shop screen.
• «Equipment» takes you to the weapons and equipment purchase screen. You can buy objects one
at a time (with the «Buy» icon) or you can equip several of items on your unit and buy them all by
pressing the «Buy All» button under the unit soldier screen.
• «Items» takes you to the items shop screen. Items can be placed in the unit inventory
and not equipped. To purchase an item for the unit inventory, choose it and press «Supply»
. The item will be equipped on this unit and you will be able to see it in the
"inventory" bookmark. To take an item off, right-click on it.
e) You can increase the amount of units you can have in an active army (unit
slots).
Initially, your army cannot contain more than six units, even if you have more
of them in reserve. To increase the number of units you are able to have in an
active army you have to purchase extra unit slots with «Buy Slots». Subscription to the game gives you additional free slots!
f) You can change a unit's equipment or buy something for it, by pressing the «Equipment» button under the unit soldier screen.
There are eight main elements at the Equipment screen:

1. «Army\Shop» transfers you between your existing equipment and the shop, where you can
purchase more.
2. Equipment button - when pressed only shows objects that can be equipped on a unit.
3. Items button - when pressed only shows items that can be put in a unit's inventory.
4. "Select objects by rank" filter.
5. «Select objects by type" filter.
6. Bookmarks for equipment/item types.
7. List of objects. Shows what you currently have (when set on "Army") or can
purchase (when set on "Shop").
• The object currently equipped on the selected unit is highlighted in green.
• Objects equipped on other units are highlighted in purple.
• Unequipped objects are highlighted in yellow.
To equip an object on a unit, select the unit with the arrow buttons and click
on the object you want to equip. If the unit already has an object of this type
(weapon, shield, armor, helm, greaves or mount), it must be unequipped first. Do
this by pressing the «Unequip»button
.
8. Equipped objects icons. Hover the cursor over these symbols for detailed
descriptions of these objects.
Equipment icons allow you to:
.«Buy» - buy an object you have equipped but not purchased;
.«Sell» - sell an object you have purchased
.«Unequip» - take an object off your unit (i.e. If you want to equip it on a
different unit.)
5 «Subscription» takes you to the game subscription screen:
[ About Subscriptions ]
You can choose between the "No Subscription" option and three subscription packages.
Captain level subscription - basic subscription:
• 5% increase in gold and experience earned from battles;
• Two additional army slots;
• Ability to purchase allied race units;
• Ability to purchase experienced units up to "Sergeant" rank;
• Ability to join VIP quests.
Marshal level subscription - medium-level subscription:
• 10% increase in gold and experience earned from battles;
• Six additional army slots;
• Ability to purchase allied and neutral race units;
• Ability to purchase experienced units up to "Major" rank;
• Ability to purchase VIP items and equipment with gold;
• Ability to purchase premium items and equipment;
• Ability to join VIP quests.
Overlord level subscription - top-level subscription:
• 20% increase in gold and experience earned from battles;
• 10 additional army slots;
• Ability to purchase allied and neutral race units for gold;
• Ability to purchase experienced units up to "General" rank;
• Ability to purchase VIP items and equipment with gold;
• Ability to purchase premium items and equipment;
• Ability to join VIP quests.
«Quick Battle» button allows you to put your army into battle without looking for opponents, or even entering the lobby.
[ About Quick Battle screen ]When you press Quick Battle button, you are shown the list of game modes in which you can play.

Select one or several modes and press “Start”. This begins the automatic matchmaking process, where the game selects you a suitable opponent (or opponents) and puts you into the battle according to the mode (or modes) you've selected. If no opponents of equal army AP are found, the game will compensate the difference by blessing some of your or enemy units, increasing their stats so the battle will be on even terms.
Once you are familiar with army management and control, you can press the «Battlegrounds» button and go to the battle lobby.

There are three main panels in the lobby:
Battlefields: All battles, both in preparation and already in progress, are displayed.
Armies: All armies currently in the lobby are shown. The Friends bookmark shows you all armies that you have been added to your friends' list. To add an army to your friends' list, click on it and then press «Add to friends». To remove it, use «Remove from Friends».

There are 10 buttons at the lobby:
1. «Quick Battle» allows you to search for preparing battles with acceptable AP limits, or create
a new game if no such battles are found.
2. «Join» allows you to join a selected existing battlefield .
3. «New Battlefield» allows you to create a new battlefield.
[ About Battle Modes ]
• In Deathmatch mode, your army is respawned until the battle limit is reached. Play this mode for easy and fun battles.
• In Domination mode, you capture and hold Victory Locations to win battles. Play this mode for dynamic battles with swift changes of battle situation.

When creating a Deathmatch battlefield you can choose the:
• Name of the
battlefield.
• Map where the battle will take place.
• Units per team number - the
maximum number of units for one team.
• Mission limit (by time or AP killed)

When creating a Team Arena battlefield you can choose the:
• Name of the
battlefield.
• Map where the battle will take place.
• Player number - the maximum
number of players that can participate in the battle.
• Army Points limit (for
Deathmatch). Example: if you set the AP limit of the battle at 1500, then one player
of 1500 AP can take one side, and two players of 700 and 800 AP can take the
other side
• Password - you can set a password needed by other players to join a
battle. If this option is activated, and the password field is left blank, then
other players can join the battle only when invited by you.

When creating a Domination battlefield you can choose the:
• Name of the
battlefield.
• Map where the battle will take place.
• Units per team number - the
maximum number of players for one team.
• Mission limit (by time or AP killed)
Battle Preparation screen

Battle preparation involves waiting, or looking for opponents and distribution between teams.
During preparation (before confirming you are ready by pressing the «Ready» button) you can change the team you will fight for by pressing the «Change Team» button. This allows for a better balance of team APs and lets you choose the
ally you want to fight with. You won't be able to change your team once you've
pressed the «Ready» button.
To change your army's composition, press the «Manage Army» button.
To invite a player to your battle room, press the «Armies» button, select an army and press «Invite».
The player who created the battle room has the Owner mark on his icon. This player starts the game by pressing the «Start» button when all other players have confirmed their readiness. This player can
also remove an army from the battle room with the «Kick» button.
If there is a «Can`t host» message displayed on your icon, it means that your Internet connection is not set up properly to host battles. To change these settings, visit the game site for instructions
Latency information is also displayed on players' icons («Latency»).
Other buttons in battle lobby screen are:
4. «Say» to send messages in a chat window.
5. «Armies» to see armies in the battle lobby.
6. «Friends» to see the players you have added as friends.
7. «Shop» takes you to the shop to buy units, equipment and items.
8. «Manage Army» takes you to army management, described above.
9. «Back» takes you back to the Main Menu.
10. Mode selector for Deathmatch, Arena battles, or both.
When all players are ready and the «Start» button has been pressed, the actual battle begins.
