The following types of units are available for purchase in World of Battles: light and heavy infantry, light and heavy pikemen, light and heavy archers, and light and heavy cavalry. This section provides an overview of each unit type, their strength and weaknesses, as well as providing general suggestions for their use.

Units' Abilities

Run  Unit ability - Run This ability provides a short boost to a unit's Speed.
Wedge Formation  Unit ability - Wedge Formation Increases a cavalry unit's Attack but decreases its Defense.
Turtle Formation  Unit Ability - Turtle Formation This ability increases a unit’s Defense and Resistance but decreases its Power and Combat Skills.
Stand Ground  Unit Ability - Stand Ground When this ability is activated the unit will attempt to stop enemy units from moving through its formation.
Assault     Unit Ability - Assault Decreases an enemy unit's offensive parameters during melee combat.
Trample     Unit Ability - Trample Increases a cavalry unit's Attack against light units.
Charge Unit Ability - Charge Provides a Damage boost to rapidly moving cavalry units.
Auto fire  Unit Ability - Auto fire When this ability is activated archers will begin shooting at any enemy units that come within range.
Feeble Melee  Unit Ability - Feeble Melee Units with this ability suffer have a poor Attack and Damage during melee combat.
