I am Grey Wolf: Barbarian Chronicler, Wiseman of the Great Plains, Historian of the Thousand Tribes. During my journeys across this world, I have sought out knowledge and tales of great battles that shaped the History. I have an important story to tell, so hold a moment, and hear of the new age that began after the fall of Farrenhall’s Kingdom. It is an epic tale, full of monsters and heroes, cities of Undead, and vast treasures! It is a tale of those who ruled this world, and those who were ground in the ashes of battle. Listen closely….

Many years had passed since Farrenhall fell. The Undead and the Orcs hunted down the survivors of the Human and Dwarven kingdoms, pillaging and leaving only destruction on their way. Yet, a group of unlikely allies appeared from the north. Barbarian and Amazon free tribes stroke back at the forces of Evil, with devastating lightning raids along Farrenhall’s northern borders. Some say it was the legendary Wild Hunt of the Amazons that led these attacks. Their resistance was so strong and fierce that the legions of Evil were forced to retreat at the Crossroads to lick their wounds. These attacks provided enough time so the Knights and Dwarves could rally their ravaged armies, their resources, and adopt new tactics. From the ashes of the ruined kingdoms arose new warriors: the Necropolis Avengers, the Quarrel Masters, the Priests of Deus, and the Warsmith Mechanics. The combined might of the Knights and Dwarves, along with the support of the free tribes, forced the Undead and the Orcs to retreat to the fabled Brass Necropolis. This last-ditch effort left the forces of the Alliance of Good drained. However, they were still weak and lacked the strength to rid the land of the forces of Evil for good.

Instead, a great wall was constructed to seal off the lands of the undead and the green skins. The best Dwarven Engineers were called for this mission ; the finest materials available in the kingdom were selected for the construction of the wall. But only time would tell if it was enough…
Hundreds of years passed, and the Wall stood strong. Then, darkness chose to strike from below. Many believe that it was the Dark Elves, with their underground tunnels, striking from within the kingdom itself that caused the crumbling of the Wall. All that is known for sure, is that some forces of Evil found a way through, slaying numerous guards and capturing storehouses of weapons in the area.
The Wall had been broken. Peace would reign no more. What would come from the other side, from the dark lands of Evil, after centuries of festering? Would Farrenhall attempt to withstand another incursion of the forces of darkness? Or would the armies of Good take the battle into the heart of Evi landsl, to the Brass Necropolis itself? It is time to find out! Time for new Battles! Claim locations and resources to make your side stronger than your opponent’s! Claim Dominion over the World of Battles!
